Electric window regulators work only at ignition inclusion.

Each window regulator has the separate reversive engine. Position of the switch of a window regulator defines polarity of the tension submitted to the engine and sets the direction of rotation of the electric motor. On a part of cars in a power-supply circuit of each engine of a window regulator overload relays are established.

For check of operability of the main switch of the window regulators located on a door of the driver, remove from the switch the electric socket and remove from a door the switch.

Using an ohmmeter, check short circuit of contacts of the switch at various positions of the switch (see fig. The main switch of window regulators and a condition of contacts on the switch at various positions of the switch).

For check of other door switches стеклоподъ emnik remove the switch and, using an ohmmeter, check short circuit of contacts of the switch at various provisions ях the switch (see fig. The switch of a window regulator and a condition of contacts on the switch at various positions of the switch).

If switches of window regulators are serviceable, and the window regulator does not work, check tension giving to the window regulator engine.

If tension arrives to the window regulator engine, and the window regulator does not work, disconnect door glass from a window regulator and, moving glass manually, check ease and smoothness of its moving. If glass moves easily, replace the window regulator engine.
