GENERAL INFORMATION

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator and merge cooling liquid from system of cooling of the engine.
2. Remove a gear belt.
3. Unscrew a bolt, a fixing casing of the thermostat to an adjusting level of the generator and remove a casing of the thermostat and the thermostat. On engines 1MZ-FE remove a back casing of a gear belt (see fig. An arrangement of brackets of fastening of a plait of wires to a back casing of a gear belt).
4. Unscrew bolts and nuts of fastening of the water pump and remove the water pump. On the engine 1MZ-FE there are two long racks which are necessary for unscrewing previously.
5. Clear all interfaced surfaces of the water pump.
Put a hermetic layer in diameter of 2-3 mm in a flute of an interfaced surface of the water pump (see fig. Places of drawing of a layer of hermetic in a flute of an interfaced surface of the water pump). On the engine 1MZ-FE instead of hermetic use rubber laying.
6. Establish the water pump on the engine and fix bolts, having tightened them the demanded moment.
7. Further installation is made in sequence, return to removal. Fill in cooling liquid in system of cooling of the engine.
