GENERAL INFORMATION

Arrangement of the main block of the relay and the relay of the fan of a radiator on models with engines 5S-FE

The main block of the relay is located in a motor compartment from the driver. Models with air conditioning have the relay No. 2.

with – the relay of the fan of a radiator No. 2;

Check of resistance and arrangement of contacts of the relay of the fan of a radiator No. 1

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the relay of the fan of a radiator No. 1 and, using an ohmmeter, check resistance between relay contacts (see fig. Check of resistance and arrangement of contacts of the relay of the fan of a radiator No. 1). Resistance between contacts of the relay 1 and 2 and contacts 3 and 4 should be minimum. When giving tension from the accumulator to contacts 1 and the 2nd resistance between contacts 3 and 4 should equal infinity.

2. If the relay of the fan of a radiator serviceable, remove the main relay of the engine and check it (see fig. Check of resistance and arrangement of contacts of the relay of the fan of a radiator No. 1 and fig. Arrangement of contacts of the main relay of the engine). Resistance between contacts of the relay 3 and 5 and contacts 2 and 4 should be minimum. Resistance between contacts 1 and 2 should be equal to infinity. When giving tension аккумуля a Torah on contacts 3 and the 5th resistance between contacts of the relay 1 and 2 should be minimum, and resistance between contacts 2 and 4 should be equal to infinity.
