6.13.2. Sensor of provision of a butterfly valve (TPS)

6.13.2.1. Check

GENERAL INFORMATION

Resistance check between the corresponding contacts of the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve on four-cylinder engines

Resistance check between the corresponding contacts of the socket of the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve on six-cylinder engines

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the electric socket from the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve (TPS) and submit vacuum to a pozitsioner of a throttle.
2. Establish щуп in the thickness of 0,7 mm between the screw of adjustment of turns of idling and an emphasis.
3. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between the corresponding pairs of contacts of the electric socket (see fig. Resistance check between the corresponding contacts of the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve on four-cylinder engines and fig. Resistance check between the corresponding contacts of the socket of the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve on six-cylinder engines).
If the measured resistance differs from demanded values, establish щуп in the thickness of 0,7 mm between the screw of adjustment of turns of idling and an emphasis and connect an ohmmeter to contacts of IGL and Е2. Weaken screws of fastening of the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve and slowly rotate the sensor clockwise while the ohmmeter will not show infinity.
4. Tighten screws of fastening of the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve, establish щуп and repeatedly measure resistance between the corresponding contacts.
