7.7. Check and adjustment of a corner of an advancing of ignition

GENERAL INFORMATION

Tools necessary for check and adjustment of a corner of an advancing of ignition

1–vacuum jams which are necessary for using for closing of the vacuum hoses disconnected during check of a corner of an advancing of ignition;
2–stroboscope;
3–wrench necessary for weakening of a bolt of fastening of the distributor of ignition

PERFORMANCE ORDER


1. Connect a tachometer according to the manufacturer instruction.	2. Using an additional wire, connect contacts Е1 and TE1 of the control socket.
3. Connect a stroboscope according to the manufacturer instruction. Establish a measuring wire of a stroboscope on a high-voltage wire of the first cylinder.

4. Combine adjusting labels on a casing of a gear belt and a pulley of a cranked shaft.	5. Start the engine, warm up it to normal working temperature and measure idling turns. Direct stroboscope light on the index with a scale of an advancing of ignition and a pulley of a cranked shaft. Thus the label on a pulley should be combined with well-aimed S on an index scale. If it is necessary, weaken a bolt of fastening of the distributor of ignition and slowly turn the ignition distributor until the label on a pulley of a cranked shaft will not be combined with well-aimed S on the index.
6. Remove an additional closing wire with диагностиче the sky socket and check that the corner of an advancing of ignition moved forward from 12 to 22 degrees.
7. Switch off the engine and remove a tachometer and a stroboscope.
