GENERAL INFORMATION

Arrangement of elements of induction system of supply of air in the engine

The induction system of supply of air in the engine changes the direction of a stream of air in an inlet collector depending on engine turns.

The executive mechanism of system copes the vacuum created in an inlet collector.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For check of induction system of supply of air establish a tee with a manometer between the regulating valve and a vacuum hose.
2. Start the engine on idling turns. Thus the manometer should not show vacuum.
3. Short time press against the stop an accelerator pedal. Thus the manometer should show vacuum, and draft of the executive mechanism should move.
4. If the vacuum is absent, check passableness of a vacuum hose and serviceability of the switching vacuum valve (VSV).
5. Check a condition of the vacuum tank, blowing through it air. At supply of air in the channel A air should leave the channel B, and in the opposite direction air should not pass.
6. Creating vacuum in the vacuum tank via the channel B, a finger of a hand check that the vacuum in the channel A keeps within at least 1 minute.
7. For check of the switching vacuum valve подсоеди threads to its contacts an ohmmeter also measure resistance which should be in limits of 33-39 Ohm.
