GENERAL INFORMATION

Installation of a temporary bolt instead of a power shaft in a nave of a forward wheel

1–washer in diameter of 50 mm;

2–washer in diameter of 45 mm;

3–nut;

4–bolt


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
Preventions

At existence in a code radio receiver against theft, before a detachment of the accumulator check that you have connection codes.

On models since 1993 the system of an airbag of safety is disconnected, if the accumulator is disconnected for long term. If a control lamp of a safety cushion it lights up and necessary to burn after repeated connection of the accumulator, it is necessary to address in a specialized workshop for restoration of operability of system.


2. Tighten the parking brake.
3. Take шплинт and unscrew a lock-nut of fastening of a power shaft to a nave.
4. Unscrew on some turns a nut of fastening of a power shaft to a nave.
5. Weaken nuts of fastening of a wheel, lift a forward part of the car and fix on supports. Remove a wheel. Completely unscrew a nut of fastening of a power shaft to a nave.
6. If the left hinge of a power shaft for replacement of a protective cover on models with engines 3VZ-FE or 1 MZ-FE acts in film, weaken 6 bolts of fastening of the internal hinge to a flange of differential or a flange of an intermediate shaft.
7. Unscrew a nut, fixing steering bent for to a rotary fist and, using a stripper of spherical hinges, remove steering draft from a rotary fist.
8. Unscrew the nuts, fixing the bottom hinge of a rotary fist to the cross-section lever and separate the bottom lever from the spherical hinge.
9. Take away a nave from the car and take the external end of a power shaft from a nave.
10. If the power shaft densely sits in a nave, temporarily screw up a nut of fastening of a nave and, using a hammer, beat out a power shaft from a nave, at the same time tightening a car wheel outside.
11. If you remove the internal hinge of a power shaft from a transmission, fixed by a lock ring, precede telno merge oil from a transmission.
12. On models with engines 3VZ-FE or 1MZ-FE unscrew 6 bolts of fastening of the internal hinge to a driving flange of a transmission and remove the hinge. If the power shaft acts in film for replacement of a sealing ring of differential, take a driving flange from a transmission. For this purpose insert between a driving flange and a transmission case mount and when the assistant will pull a power shaft outside, in strongly sharp blow on the end of mount beat out a driving flange from gearing in a semi-axial gear wheel of differential.
13. At removal of the internal hinge of the left power shaft on models with engines 5S-FE take a power shaft from a transmission. For this purpose insert between the internal hinge and a transmission case mount and when the assistant will pull a power shaft outside, in strong sharp blow on the end of mount beat out a power shaft from gearing in a semi-axial gear wheel of differential.

14. For removal of the internal hinge of a power shaft unscrew a bolt of fastening of the intermediate bearing.
15. Cнимите a blooming ring and sharply pull a power shaft outside. Thus the power shaft should leave gearing in a semi-axial gear wheel of differential.
16. Thus the power shaft should leave gearing in a semi-axial gear wheel of differential.
17. Do not lower the car on wheels with removed by two or one power shafts as it will give to поврежде a niya of bearings. If it is necessary to move the car with the removed power shafts, instead of a power shaft in a nave establish a bolt with a nut and two big washers (see fig.
