GENERAL INFORMATION

Resistance check between contacts of the socket of a measuring instrument of a stream of air on the V6 engine 3VZ-FE
 

The measuring instrument of a stream of air measures amount of the air arriving in the engine. On the basis of information from a measuring instrument of a stream of air the ESM control unit changes size of supply of fuel in the engine. The size of the signal created by a measuring instrument of a stream of air depends on the provision of a measuring plate.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a measuring instrument of a stream of air.
2. Check a measuring instrument of a stream of air on lack of cracks and other damages.
3. Check that the measuring plate moves freely and without jammings. Measure resistance between contacts of the socket of a measuring instrument of a stream of air.
