6.16.1. Removal

1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.

At existence in a code radio receiver against theft, before a detachment of the accumulator check that you have connection codes.

On models since 1993 the system of an airbag of safety is disconnected, if the accumulator is disconnected for long term. If a control lamp of a safety cushion it lights up and necessary to burn after repeated connection of the accumulator, it is necessary to address in a specialized workshop for restoration of operability of system.

2. Disconnect the electric socket from the IAC valve, the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve (TPS), the MAF sensor and the electromagnetic EGR/EVAP valve.
3. Disconnect a cable of an accelerator and draft of management of a transmission from the throttle case.
4. Disconnect an accelerator cable from an inlet collector.
5. Mark, then disconnect vacuum hoses from the chamber of an air inlet, the EGR valve, the ACIS valve and a regulator of pressure of fuel (see fig. Chamber of an air inlet of the V6 engine).
6. Unscrew a bolt of fastening of an arm of the chamber of an air inlet.
7. Disconnect hoses of supply of cooling liquid to the throttle case.
8. Unscrew bolts of fastening of the chamber of an air inlet.
9. Remove the air inlet chamber together with the throttle case from an inlet collector.
10. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal. Thus it is necessary to use new laying and sealing rings.
